We're Back!!

I bet you were thinking to youself, "Is she ever going to update the blog??" Well, after we returned from our Christmas visit to Georgia, our computer moniter went out. So that's why I haven't updated in a while! But we're up and running again so here's our very late Christmas update through Crista's eyes...

We went to the airport and got on a big plane so we could spend Christmas with Da and Grandma and Uncle Marcus.

When we got to Georgia, we did lots of fun stuff, like going to the park.

And then I played ball in Grandma's backyard.

And I played with Uncle Preston.

And had a snack with Uncle Walter.

And I saw Santa, again.
And I cried, again.

But I was nice enough to share my cookie with him.

Maybe he'll remember that when he's checking his list.

I wanted to play in my new ball pit with cousin Tucker, but I think he's too little.

So I played with Abby instead!

And I visited my Great-Great Aunts

And took ALL my dolls for a walk in this buggy.

I brushed Uncle Marcus's teeth with his own toothbrush

Then I brushed mine too!

I helped with Mommy's laundry.

This is me helping...with Mommy's panties over my head!!

Then there was the cooking lesson. I taught Grandma how to make Graham Cracker Soup.

She said it was "Yummy!"

I ate lots of oyster soup at the big family dinner.

And the next morning, I ate it again for breakfast!

But only because Grandma did!

Umm, good!

And like I did every morning, I tricked Grandpa into sharing his breakfast with me too!

And then it was Christmas morning!
I did NOT want to sit on the presents to take pictures. I wanted to OPEN them!!

So I did!

And it was FUN! I got lots of great stuff!

And cousin Chase lost his first tooth ever!

Uncle Marcus said I can cheer for his team when I get bigger. So he gave me this cheerleading outfit so I can practice!

And then, I fell aleep!

Oh, and Da, if you can't find your watches...

I have no idea where they could be.

Honest, I never saw them!

So, in a nutshell, that was our Christmas vacation! We had such a wonderful time! It's hard to believe what a difference a year can make. Last Christmas, all we had was a picture of a tiny little baby with big brown eyes that was thousands of miles away from us. Last Christmas was hard, really hard. But within a year, a family was created, a childless couple is no longer childless, and a sweet little baby girl has found a forever home. The only tears in my eyes this Christmas, are tears of pure joy!
