Crista hasn't felt great this week. She is cutting 3 new teeth, 2 molars and 1 I (or is it "eye"?) tooth. She's been having tummy troubles and has been a little more clingy than usual. 2 of the teeth are really close to popping through but the third one may take a little more time.
This picture was taken early one morning when she woke up screaming. I went in to get her and she had a major diaper problem-all over her, her pajamas, and her bedding. Not a fun way to wake up. So I washed her down, put a clean diaper on her and tucked her in our bed with Teddy Love. She looks pitiful doesn't she?
The happiest day of the week: the day I change my bed linens. Doesn't it look fun?
It's turning cooler here and Crista was able to wear some of her new fall clothes this week. The days felt great so we played outside quite a bit. Autumn would be my favorite time of year if winter didn't follow it!
Cutest Kid in the Universe Pictures:
Just to explain the washrag, after meals and snacks, I get a wet washcloth to wipe Crista's hands and face with. Then Crista takes the washrag around the house and plays with it. Sometimes she cleans with it and other times, like this time, she chews on it (she's teething, remember). But it makes her happy :-)
I took the girls to the park this week. They loved it!
The girls had on matching outfits and were so cute together. I just had to get a picture of them together.
Needless to say, I didn't get a good picture of the girls in their cute outfits. Maybe next time!
After the park we went to Dairy Queen for lunch. And you can't go to the DQ without getting ice cream, it would be rude! Crista's really getting a taste for it, and she likes to feed herself so we ended up a sticky mess! But it tasted good!
The girls love to play in Jake's chair. One thing these girls have in common is that they're both hams! They love to be silly and make you laugh!
Jake and I took Crista to Red Lobster on Friday for dinner. Crista enjoyed telling people "bye-bye" and blowing them kisses as they passed her high chair. She really is the cutest kid in the universe! Crista also enjoyed stealing some of Daddy's strawberry daiquiri (non-alcoholic of course!). In the second picture she's signing "more". Crista has done so well with her sign language. She knows 8 signs right now that she uses on a daily basis. I'm hoping to teach her more this week. She's also picking up new words too. She can already say 9 words which I think is wonderful considering the first 6 months of her life she was spoken to only in Spanish. Not only do we have the cutest kid in the universe, but I believe we have the smartest too!! Lucky us!
