Beautiful Baby

Crista is an amazing baby! To think of all the changes she's gone through in the first 10 months of her life, and then to be so well adjusted. I think she's so amazing! The past few months must have been so confusing and challenging for her learning to adapt to the ways of the Brown household. Crista has taken everything in stride and has been a wonderul baby, but was testy and frustrated easily. She went through a clingy phase for about a month and wouldn't leave my side. She was nicknamed my "velcro baby" becasue she was stuck to me! But just this week Jake and I have started to see the "real" Crista, her true personality has come out. In one word, she's...HAPPY!!! She laughs so easily and her biggest goal in life right now is to make her Dada and Mama laugh too. She is such a ham!! She's really into clapping, but only if you do it too while saying "Yea Crista!!" She also loves to dance. Its so cute to see her cubby little legs bouncing up and down, grinning the whole time.

Here are a few pictures of Crista playing. She loves laundry day as you can see!

On Wednesday we had a few friends from the neighborhood over for a pool party. We had a baby pool for the little ones and a blow up waterslide for the bigger ones. Jake helped us set everything up on Tuesday night. The first few pictures are of Crista playing on the blow up slide. She loved to bounce on it and then fall down. The last few were taken at the pool party. Crista didn't give too many smiles, probably because the water was freezing!
