Making Memories
We did something so wonderful this past weekend. We created Christmas memories with our little family! Oh to experience the joy of Christmas with the excitement of a child!! Crista was so anxious to help put up the Christmas decorations. She was right beside us the entire time...usually singing "Jingle Bells" or one of the other 20 songs she knows.
A tradition we started last year...Crista opening her first Christmas present on the night we put up the tree. She loved her snowman jammies!
And a new tradition...Sleeping under the Christmas tree. It was truly a magical experience...Crista slept in until 9:45 the next morning! The three of us camped out on the floor all night with the Christmas lights twinkling above us. Crista loved it but was a little confused. She thought Santa was coming that night. She kept saying..."Santa is coming to town!!!" So cute :-)
Teddy Love and Maudie Mae joined the camp out too.
We had such a wonderful weekend. Jake was off work and we got to spend so much time together as a family. Jake and I got to do our Christmas shopping and have a date night (Thanks again Papaw and Mamaw!). And seeing Crista so excited makes me excited too! Keep checking back...I'm really behind on my posts and have tons of pictures to share!
