Crista wanted you to meet someone...
What do you mean where is she? Crista's got her arm around her! Her name is "Sophie" and she's Crista's new imaginary friend. She suddenly came into our lives last week when Crista asked if Sophie could come over to play. I told her it was fine and about 5 minutes later, she comes running into the room all excited saying, "Sophie's here, Mom! Sophie's here!" All I knew to say was "Where???" Crista replied while pointing to the air, "Right there!" And she's been with us ever since, going everywhere with our family and participating in all facets of our family's life. She's made what used to be a 45 minute battle at bedtime, a simple, and delightful, experience! Sophie's been a wonderful example for Crista!!Another cute picture of Crista with her new friend...
What?? You think that's Sophie?? That doesn't even look like Sophie! Actually, that's Morgan...her newest imaginary friend. She came into our lives just this evening, just in time for supper. (Sarah, I'm starting to wonder if maybe I check your blog a little TOO often, hum?)You thought Crista was finished making up friends, did you?? Sophie and Morgan are sweet and really shows her imagination. But this next one has me a little worried...She's kissing her, sigh, "boyfriend". Where does she come up with this stuff??!! I asked what her "boyfriend's" name is and she said "Daddy" boyfriend. So I guess that's OK for now :-)
