We're not sure if they're quite ready for the road yet, but they are entertaining!
We had a little spring teaser this week. I was able to get Crista outside twice this week! She loved playing in the backyard and cried when we had to go inside. Here are a few pictures of Crista playing outside.
Crista's not happy that she still can't climb up by herself.
Crista kept trying to kiss the little bird ornament. But this was as close as she would get to it.
Because of our ice storm last week, our backyard is littered with sticks and branches. So, I put the girls to work. We took down 6 wagon loads to the burn pile and only got about half the yard done! Hopefully we'll have another nice day soon so I can finish the yard.
My two little cooking buddies.
Not too sure what Crista's cooking up back there.
Crista has a new favorite game...
ride on Mommy's back. She loves it and usually giggles the whole time (as you can tell, I don't mind it either!)
We also had another first this week...Crista's first ponytail. It leaves a lot to be desired but we're working on it!
After two pretty days here, it rained on Friday. The girls were antsy so I brought out the paints. These girls love all this art stuff!
But when it was all said and done, all Crista wanted to do was clean up the spilled paint. Really, I don't know where she gets it from! :) But she is a very good cleaner!
Like I mentioned earlier, it rained on Friday and the girls were so restless. I drug out the painting as long as I could and it was still only 10am! Ever have days like that, days where time seems to stand still? So, I decided to try something new with the girls. I stripped them down to their undies, gave them markers (washables) and let them go. Didn't take them too long to get into it...
I helped "decorate" their backs.
And into the tub they went. The markers came right off-no scrubbing needed!
This is Crista's new excited face. She does it all the time now!
Don't they look like two old ladies sipping their tea?!
I caught them in a sweet moment.
All squeaky clean! And it took up almost 45 minutes!! Yea!!
Another fabulous week at the Brown house!
