We had a fun week celebrating Easter. Even though this is Crista's second Easter, last year she was too little to participate in any of the festivities. Crista had fun helping me decorate some eggs. She had more fun dropping the eggs on the floor and watching my reaction. Sadly, 2 eggs lost their lives at Crista's hands. But I must say the egg salad sandwiches we ate for lunch were delicious :-)
Crista also had her first Easter egg hunt. I had wonderful plans of inviting a few of the neighbor kids over to hunt for eggs and eat peanut butter cookies. Unfortunately, with all the rain we've had this week, the ground was too muddy and it was way too cold to play outside. So, we had Crista's first Easter egg hunt in our living room. Crista didn't know any better and enjoyed it just the same!
We all had a great week and we're looking forward to a day filled with activities tomorrow. Check back soon for more Easter pictures!
