The 4th, A Hammock, and A Pool Party!

Crista had a wonderful first 4th of July! Although she's technically not a citizen yet, she was proudly sporting the stars and stripes all day! We had a family get together at Crista's Great-Aunt Pat's and Great-Aunt Gail's house. Crista had a wonderful time playing with her cousins and eating all that yummy food!

Introducing for the first time together, the cousins! Aren't they too cute!?
From L to R: Lysi, Crista, and Chaney.
The girls were all born within 8 weeks of each other.

Crista and her Papaw. She just loves him!

I didn't get as many pictures of Crista this week like I had planned. Jake's grandma passed away suddenly so we were pretty busy all last week. I did get a few though and I thought these were cute. We sure do have a beautiful baby girl!!

We finally got Jake's Father's Day present! I know its a little late, but I'm so glad he finally has it. Happy Father's Day (a little late) Jake!

Daddy enjoying his gift.

Crista wanted in on this action!

No one can say she's not Jake's!

I even got to relax in it for a bit!

I love summer! I love being outside, feeling the sun on my skin! There is nothing better than to sit on the family swing, sipping lemonade, watching little Crista explore the backyard. This is one of my favorite little play outfits on Crista. I've waited all summer for Crista to grow into it! Nothing says summer more than strawberries (thanks Staci!)!

Crista has a wonderful Papaw! But I think he forgot she is a GIRL!!! This is what Crista came home with after our last visit...

Dolls are nice too, Papaw! :-)

We were invited to a bar-b-que over at Reese's parents house. Crista and Reese loved playing together in the pool. Crista really got into splashing! They are so much fun to watch!

"You got me?"

"I will save you, Crista!"

"HEY! Where'd you go? You were supposed to save me!"

This is what trouble looks like!
Don't you love the matching bathing suits?!

Have a wonderful week everyone!
PS-Crista wanted me to remind you: Only 20 more days until her birthday! :-)
