This is my most favorite time of year. The weather is warm, the garden is planted and sprouting, and the pool is warming up. As you will see, we spent most of our week playing outside. The weather has been absolutely perfect here! Crista went on her first hike this week at Mounds State Park with Papaw and Mamaw. She loves being outside and loves being carried around in the backpack. Check out those grins! Crista was worn out by the end of the day! Just look at her sleeping position...she must've been exhausted to sleep like that!

This was Reese's last week with us until school starts back in the fall. These two really love each other. I know Crista will miss Reese this summer.

Speaking of trouble...This afternoon I was putting up laundry, running back and forth between rooms. Crista was crawling around and made her way into her bathroom. I did a quick scan to make sure it was babyproof (and it was) and kept going about my business, checking on her every 20-30 seconds. She got really quiet (never a good sign) so I looked into the bathroom as I passed by-she wasn't there. I figured she crawled out of her bathroom and into a bedroom looking for me. I looked into my bedroom-not there. I looked into Crista's bedroom-not there. Then I heard something coming from Crista's bathroom. I went back in there and this is how I found her...
How did she get in there??? She was so proud of herself!! Isn't she too young to be doing this kind of stuff??!!
These last few pictures are from today. Crista is starting to enjoy playing in the grass and getting a little dirty. Today she discovered the slide. She was content sitting at the bottom of it, picking off every blade of grass (we were there for a while). Crista definitely gets that clean steak from her Grandma and me!
